Exhibition of dolls and models used in work by Conflictivos Prodcutions, run by the animator Sam.
Sam enters the world of animation as a self-taught young boy reading and learning from books and magazines. After his years in the Fine Arts faculty and working for some studios and working on very different projects, such as TV series (“Doc Franky”, “Trikets”, “Capelito”, etc.), short films (Minotauromaquia, El enigma del chico croqueta, etc.), adverts (the “los García” campaign for the Euro), etc. he establishes his own production company, “Conflictivos Productions”. His first short films, “Encarna” and “Hermético” are screened in many festivals. At the same time he works for some other studios like Aardman. In 2996, Sam goes into partnership with I.B. Cinema and from that union, “El ataque de los Kristers asesinos” and “The werepig” short films come out. Nowadays, he es finishing “Vicente”, his latest and most ambitious short film.

A convict who has just escaped from prison will try recovering a haul hidden for many years in a solitary and isolated small village; but what he will find there is a worst condemn than the one he has escaped from. Sinister elderlies, strange disappearances, spiritis, a particular priest and the archpriest of Santiago will cross their ways in this story full of terror, humour and fantasy.
Un convicto recién fugado de la cárcel tratará de recuperar un botín escondido años atrás en una solitaria y apartada aldea; pero lo que allí encontrará supone una condena aún mayor de la que ya huyó. Siniestros ancianos, extrañas desapariciones, espíritus, un peculiar sacerdote y el arcipreste de Santiago cruzarán sus caminos en una historia de terror, humor y fantasía.
This is the story of O Apóstolo, an animated film by the Galician director Fernando Cortizo and we will unravel its creation process gradually with this exhibition of photographies, sketches and models.
